User + sys times greater than elapsed time30 Sep 2005 20:06 GMT1
Previously in these hallowed halls I have queried the values for user
and sys cpu as reported by sysmaster.  The documentation says that it

IDS 10 erratic run times29 Sep 2005 09:11 GMT44
IDS 10.0FC3 on Solaris 2.9
This is a brand new server which we are preparing to migrate a v9 system to.
Over the past few weeks I have run multiple dbimports from more-or-less the
same data source - certainly the same schema - but the import time varies

Using Informix Storage Manager (ISM)28 Sep 2005 06:49 GMT1
My group is considering using ISM for archiving our XPS 8.5 instances.  I'd

filesystem backup to store the images to tape.
Does anyone have any experience using this product who could give me some

Trouble declaring variables27 Sep 2005 23:08 GMT3
I usually use MS SQL Server, but am working on a project where I also
have to integrate with a legacy Informix box.  I do not have write
priveleges to the Informix box, just read only, so I cannot create a
stored procedure.  Basically what I want to do is insert text into my
ISM restore to different machine27 Sep 2005 20:56 GMT4
IDS 9.40 on Suse Linux SLES8.
We backup IDS to disk using onbar and ISM. We then backup the whole Linux

physical machine in the past.  We are now trying to "clone" the machine for

get it from Passport Advantage.  I've looked on the IBM Partner "Value Pack"
