Is there any way in Informix to create an XML File. I am trying to return the recordset returned through an Select Query into an XML File. When using an SQL server we van use "FOR XML AUTO" clause to return the resultset in XML Format.

The main problem is, that DB2 and Informix are too similar. Not similar enough to merge, but not different enough to do marketing for both. Because DB2 has more market share, it's clear (at least for IBM) that Informix has to be in the shadow of DB2.
