I have a problem where I need to find the 2nd and 3rd best answers as
well as the best, and wrap them all up into a single result row.  I'm
having trouble getting to an IDS-compliant answer:
(tables simplified to protect the sanity of the innocent)

using the following SQL-Command I copy very fast a lot of rows
from a INFOMIX DB (source) into a ACCESS DB (destination):
INSERT INTO tab SELECT * FROM [ODBC;DSN=DB;UID=name;PWD=test;].tab WHERE
tab_typ = 50;

Is there any way in Informix to create an XML File. I am trying to
return the recordset returned through an Select Query into an XML File.
When using an SQL server we van use "FOR XML AUTO" clause to return the
resultset in XML Format.

Can you please tell me what is the best way to replicate data from

I submitted dbspace-pages.sh some years back it seemed to last so well
- nobody had any complaints about it, at least as long as my contact
e-mail was @netscape.  Well, after 6 years of apparently loyal service

The main problem is, that DB2 and Informix are too similar. Not similar
enough to merge, but not different enough to do marketing for both.
Because DB2 has more market share, it's clear (at least for IBM) that
Informix has to be in the shadow of DB2.

This involves IDS 94 installation on XP64.
