We have recently started using HDR, and are planning a test.  The test

automatic statistics collection30 May 2008 08:00 GMT1
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the automatic statistics
collection portion of the create index in ids 11.1?
I don't see anything in the docs but I'm hoping for an undocumented onconfig
or env variable.

have not seen great performance and don't know if it our setup or if
there is any special configuration that we should set up.

Loading data in Table28 May 2008 08:37 GMT1
In my work I have Informix 10 + HDR and some tables with more than 40 millonres records.
These tables have more than 50 extents by recreating what I need to resize the extents and reduce the number of extents.
Recalling that I have Informix + HDR my question is as follows...  ...
Non-printable sign28 May 2008 05:44 GMT7
I have problem with replacing non-printable 'new line' sign (^J) to

Oracle's ord() or ascii() which would be helpful.
My task is to unload rows from sql query into file with default
cpu28 May 2008 01:49 GMT2
IDS 9.40.FC5 on Solaris 9.  We migrated from a db server with 8 cpus to
one with 4 dual core cpus - 4-SMP Core CPUs 1.35 GHz.  Is this actually
the equivalent of having 8 processors?   I'm tuning as if they are the
same and performance is not bad but occassionally cpu is maxed out.
