I am running IDS 11.5 and I have a table with a blob column. I'm
trying to
select length(blob_col) from table

In general, I'm just wondering about how to use additional free memory
for Informix. We have a lot of boxes that might have 4,6, even 8+ GB's
of memory that is never used.
The only places I know to use it are SHMVIRTSIZE and BUFFERS. I was

I am trying to install 64Bit Informix driver on my SQL Server machine
Reading a few post, the last post :
The problem is with the installer and how it creates its registry
entries.  It creates the entries under the Wow6432Node when it should

The syntax below is fine in 7 and 10, but fails in 11.10 (or 11.5).  Any

I'm have a problem with creating stored procedure that use Dinamy SQL.

So IDS 11 now has Kerberos integration and comes with a library
$INFORMIXDIR/lib/csm/libixgss.so for this  integration.
There are two types of Kerberos (MIT and Heimdal), so for Redhat AS 4
