Has anyone ever seen a message in the online.log concerning external backup such as:
“The first chunk of dbspace’report08:grand.cust_pri’ does not appear to come from an external backup”?
At the same time the application log started getting SQL  -271    Could not insert new row ...

I just figured out how to determine what is in a backup file using
IDS10 or IDS11 ontape. I hadn't seen this anywhere else so I thought I
would post it. A little background, We use many backups for setting up
testing environments. We sometimes have to rename the chunks in the

I need to know what session or sql is consuming high temporary space
due to other session are affected (-264    Could not write to a
temporary file.)
I have two temporary dbspaces (tmp1 and tmp2, 1 GB c/u).
