Detecting the existance of a session temporary table29 Feb 2004 23:20 GMT1
    I am using ODBC connection pooling so that database connections
are reused between different process instances.
The problem I have is that my application creates temporary session
tables that are sometimes not dropped (if the process aborts due to a
restoring client configuration (files/symbol.tbl): II_GCNre_PORT26 Feb 2004 22:12 GMT1
Somehow the files/symbol.tbl file was corrupted on one of our client
machines.  It looks like I can just copy a valid file from another
client, and fix 2 values that vary across the clients:
II_GCNre_LCL_VNODE (the machine name) and II_GCNre_PORT.

environment is Ingres II 9808 on Aix 4.3
Installed Ingres II - no problems, am able to start and stop ingres.
Apply patch 9181 and am unable to run any ingres commands (ingstart,
ingstop, ingprenv etc)

Anyone seen this when trying to install EA-Gateway 2.1/9807 + patch n/a on
SUN Solaris Sparc 2.9
Seems to be looking for files that don't exist in the installation (is this
a 32bit vs. 64bit problem?)

 EXEC SQL BEGIN DECLARE SECTION;
