is there any OLE DB provider from CA (or 3rd party) that can be installed on top of an Ingres 2.5 client? Installing Ingres 3.0 on the client is not an option because we need OR 4.0 runtime on the machine.

When copying in a table that has date columns, sometimes an error is reported saying the date is in the wrong format. What appears to be wrong is the date has a fractional second. For example, dd-Mmm-YYYY HH:MM:SS.sss. What would cause this to occur?

I'm a newbee on Ingres II I have installed Ingres II 2.6 on a W2K workstation SP3, and when I try to use Visual DBA, I can connect the default database/system ( INGRES), but I cannot open the users to add one.

we have some PCs (Win 2000 and Win XP) for testing purposes. The PCs run Ingres 2.5 and OR 4.0 runtime. No problem to install this because with Ingres 2.5 installation CD, everything can be installed into one single II_SYSTEM directory.
