Embedded SQL / Ada29 Dec 2004 01:01 GMT250
I have some Embedded SQL Ada code that I need to preprocess so that I

However, I notice that the Ada preprocessor is missing, even though
dbms parameters29 Dec 2004 01:00 GMT119
Just wondering if there is anything similar to the oracle v$session
information with ingres (some sort of generalized "select dbmsinfo"
that would allow to search for the dbms parameter values during the

IIPROMPTALL and IIPROMPT1 revisited28 Dec 2004 23:22 GMT55
I'm sure that this has been discussed countless times, but... I need to

won't prompt me for my username/password.  What version will work?
ivm.exe performance28 Dec 2004 23:17 GMT33
Task manager shows IVM is chewing up a huge amount of I/O. It is
reproducible on WinXP and Win2000 - three different machines - with
and without the Ingres DB installed.  It is performing more I/O than
any other process including the ingres database server.  Level 1
Ingres vs SQLite26 Dec 2004 02:28 GMT2
As an ingres strong supporter, I ran into an unexpected difficulty when
I wanted to explain how better is Ingres compared to SQLite, just
because I don't know very well SQLite.
Could someone give me some answers on this?

Open Source DBMS Popularity Contest20 Dec 2004 15:14 GMT1
Newsforge.com is holding a popularity vote for what they call your "Favorite
open source database [sic]".  Ingres is one of the options, and out of 2,577
votes so far, Ingres has polled--wait for it--eleven (including my vote).
Being popular and being well-designed are of course ...

Hi Dudes,
Is it possible to configure IngresNET so that the user authentication
