seen.  This is Ingres SPARC SOLARIS Version II 2.6/0305 (su4.us5/00), on an

[Info-ingres] Table compression vs. table size26 May 2005 21:44 GMT3
I thought I'd know this but I'm not sure anymore, so I thought I'd ask
around.
Small tests show if I uncompress a small table (from hidata), the
table's number of pages remain the same (seems to use page compression vs

Strange problem with PHP and Ingres R3.19 May 2005 16:25 GMT1
I am trying to connect an Ingres web server to Ingres R3 via ODBC. Works
fine. Almost. I get Net and ODBC working via isql (also both netutil and
iiodbcadmn report back fine when testing the connection), but I get this
error from the Apache error_log:

Change II_CHARSET18 May 2005 01:41 GMT2
I set II_CHARSET=ISO88591 when ingres was first installed . But I have
to change it to SHIFTJIS.   Shall I have to re-install ingres?  Would
you have other solutions?
Thanks a lot.
RE: [Info-ingres] Re: PHP times out waiting for an ingres connection15 May 2005 14:20 GMT2
Do you have timeout defined for the transaction? I have NT Ingres client
trying to connect to OpenVMS and it takes 6 seconds. The slowness is on
the NT Ingres.
Good luck

We often get something like Exception occurred in the DMF Facility,
exception number 68197 in one of the DBMS logs.
