(I was asked this in another forum) I have a procedure which executes with a different table name being passed. Inside the procedure. I retrieve the tablename and do an insert in to the table. The question is what is the way of retrieval.

I think the new RPM based setup method is much better than the old ingbuild-based one as used in Ingres 2.x. Now, I wonder if there are plans to provide an easy installation method also for Debian style Linux distributions.

Does anyone know where to go to view Ingres R3 source code? I looked in http://opensource.ca.com/projects/ingres/subversion. It then refers to www.svn.ingres.com but when I go there I cant find any source code. Michael

I work on the migration from a ASA database to a Open Source DBMS, and I wonder whether anybody had ever tested, or knew, if Ingres could run on Windows 98?? If yes, how and would I need somem patch or others?
