We use Ingres II 2.0/0011 on VMS 7.2-3.
This morning we redirected and redefined the logical of the II_WORK
location to point at a new location on a different disk. We changed the
logicals online and also in the command procedure that is run when the

I've been reading another thread in this group on extending the
transaction log and saw the discussion on the cp_timer parameter.
On Adv.Ingres 2.6 - hp-ux Itanium, we've been setting the
archiver_interval to 2 and cp_interval to 1. Transaction log size : 5

We are experiencing occasional slowdowns in the database and in most of
those slow periods, we see multiple lines like the following:

The end of daylight saving time for Australia will be extended by a
week to 2/4/2006.  I have a patch from Microsoft for the OS and also an
update for the HP-UX.  I am currently waiting for my account to be

We have an Ingres 2.0 server installation on Alpha OpenVMS 7.3-2.  We
have configured Windows XP clients running Ingres 3.0.2 Ingres/NET to
talk to this server.  Installation passwords have been implemented (and
these work from other servers).  We have no passwords required on the
