Hai All,
   I am newly to Ingres and i had installed a ingres in normal user(other
than ingres,root).but i execute the ingstart command it will display the
error like below

I have installed Ingres DB on Win XP Pro and now I decided to do the
same on Linux. Everything seems to be OK, but I wonder - are there any
GUI tools for Linux? In Win version we have Visual Manager, Visual
SQL,... Are there Linux versions of them?

We are getting SIGBUS/SIGSEGV errors resulting in the iidbms
crashing/hanging These happen (usually) around 19:00 - 20:30 the
weekday evening, so we are thinking that something in the application,

A little off topic but,....
I have a job which automates the transfer of journals checkpoints etc
from one host to another as part of my Disaster Plans.
It relies on ssh between the hosts involved.
