I am currently trying to compile some abf applications under Ingres 2006 r2
running on Redhat 5 (64bit) that have been copied from an AIX server running
Ingres 2.6 I am getting all kinds of compilation errors when attempting to
build my c library, which is used by all the ABF ...

I've the latest Ingres Community Edition running and now I tried to
change the password of a user, but it did not succeed. I'm doing the
following:
- Log on to the linux system as user 'foobar'

I have a legacy application running for more than15 yrs. Now I am
wanting to use the concept of creating multi-databses for various
reasons. The problem is,
1. I have to segregate the applications to various databases.

defaullt fillfactors etc. I have freshly modified it, I have rebuilt the
stats on it.

We used to use a tool called "AdminPhys", does anyone know that tool?

Backing up Ingres databases05 Sep 2007 13:42 GMT2
I have an Ingres 2.6 database I need to backup to tape.
Which locations to I need to copy to tape to ensure that the database
can be recovered?
Do I only need to backup the checkpoint location(s)? Is there any need
