Do you notice that the first page of the Ingres web site never mentions the
word database?
Time to say goodbye to the 2k page size?26 Oct 2007 19:10 GMT10
We will be upgrading several systems to Ingres 2006 R2 in the coming
months.
One proposal is that we start using 8k pagesize for *all* database
tables,
Ingres 2006 Release 225 Oct 2007 21:05 GMT30
Does anyone know the legal situation if I download and use the GA version of
Ingres 2006 Release 2 and choose not to buy a support subscription?
Right-to-use is free, right?  The subscription is just for support.  I don't
pay and don't get any.

Building Ingres apps with MinGW24 Oct 2007 11:07 GMT1
In my continuing quest for an affordable and *compact* C development package
for Ingres apps in the Windows environment, I have been playing around with
MinGW (www.mingw.org).
For anyone following my antics, I've now given up on LCC-Win32

the lower version has to be manually exported into a newer ...
Re: [Info-Ingres] Building Ingres apps with MinGW11 Oct 2007 10:09 GMT1
I migrated a small esql/c report from Solaris 2.8 to Win2000 MinGW. I

of the includes and change the function calls. Finally got the thing to
go before the client decided to re-write the report using crystal.
