| [Info-Ingres] [IJ]use of runbuild.sh | 30 Mar 2008 12:05 GMT | 2 |
I've been having a play with runbuild.sh and trying to get it to work on Ubuntu (which I'll be raising a ticket for shortly) I think runbuild.sh is great - you can basically now download the source and run one script to build ingres without any setting of environments variables

Did anyone realise that you cant raise an error from within an OME external lenspec routine? I didn't and now I'll be spending this evening fixing the fixes I installed on my last set of functions. If an error is raised the program will crash out of the server and

| Consistency points in r3 | 06 Mar 2008 17:48 GMT | 2 |
The way CP flushing is done has changed repeatedly over the years. Way back in the bad old days, a consistency point flush used to stall the server. Also, the WB threads used to help out with CP flushes. Later the behaviour was changed so that CP flushes no longer stall the ...

| [IJ] trace point OP188 broken | 03 Mar 2008 18:00 GMT | 4 |
It seems trace point OP188 is broken in Ingres 9.2.0. It no longer reports the query plan numbers. Since it is an undocumented feature (albeit a virtually indispensible one) I don't think I can really log it as a support issue. If there are any
