We're using an old OpenRoad3.5 application with an Ingres 2.6 database
hosted on a solaris 2.6 server. This is a "legacy" system that "they"
just don't want to get rid of.

I wish to parse out an Ingres data copy (with sql db_name <  copy.out

We have an Ingres installation on a Digital Unix 4.0, with 2 drives:
Disk A: /local/ingres
Disk B: /local/ingres/data
Lately Disk B went bad.  I created "/local/ingres/data" on Disk A and

I know ther was a CA tool called TransForge for moving ABF app to OpenRoad.
Is it supported by the Ingres Corporation ? Is there similar tool for other

My Boss ask me how to create a Backup site for Ingres Database, I looked
at Ingres Documentation and the only solution that I can found was use
ingres replicator to whole the database.

I still get problems on PM
1. is it true that pmload could only load config.dat(or some file
specified) ? But just only one file? If i want to load another file
similar to config.dat and make both loaded, is there any way?
