Hi I create block of data using table mybase (it's structure is id
NUMBER PK, name VARCHAR2(20)).
I want to achieve effect that if I lanch the form and I will press
insert new record the new record will have in Id cell the highest next

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I'm new to Oracle, and I'm
trying to use the demo code with Instant Client 10.2 downloaded from
Oracle's website.
The code compiles OK, but throws a SQLException on the first statement:

There's been an update to the middleware lists at SQLSummit.com. Because
of the number of ODBC and JDBC drivers, those lists have been
partitioned for faster web page loading. The pages are in alphabetical
order by vendor, author or project name.
