We've got a table with (apart from other columns) one object column.
The object type is mdsys.sdo_geom, containing one number and two varrays of
numbers.
Now, in SQLPlus, if I select on this table, it shows me the object's

I have code (scripts) that perform manipulation on data and output to
text or excel. I'm looking to replace this with a package similar to
DTS in MSSQL. Does something like this exist as part of the Oracle

There's a very nice browser that is called Smart Bro. I think this
browser is the best browser in the market. It has:
1. Very nice and clean interface.
2. Tabbed browsing.

web based, where users can design select queries via web browser.  If
anyone knows whether this kind of tools already exists, please post an

   what tool would you propose for generatig database (schemas, tables,
... possibly full set of Oracle objects. I used to use RationalRose, but it
doesn't seem to support tablespaces / sequences / nor trigger/procedure body
validating.. .

Hi - if I've got more than one application that uses the JInitiator
(and hence JAR cache) can I be sure that their shared use of the cache
won't cause any problems ?  (I must admit I've got no idea how the JAR
cache works but I assume the objects in the cache are uniquely related

    I need to load millions of data from Informix 7.3 to Oracle9i.
  I was thinking of using Sql loader to load the data so the data from
informix should come come in as a flat file .
For eg a CSV file now the flat file has a restriction on its size when
