Oracle 10g Release 2 and Fedora Core28 May 2007 09:22 GMT2
I've downloaded Oracle 10 Release 2 Developer Suite. Has anyone
successfully installed this version on Fedora Core. I currently run
Fedora Core 6 as my primary OS and DS Release 2 refused to installed
indicating that it requires Red Hat 4 or 5. But isn't Fedora Core
TEXT_IO.PUT replace CHR(10) with CHR(13) CHR(10)25 May 2007 10:23 GMT3
I am trying to output a binary file using TEXT_IO and whenever I put
CHR(10), I find that Oracle Forms 6i writes out CHR(13) and CHR(10)
instead. Is there any way to prevent the system from writing out the
CHR(13) ? Thanks

Usually I use oracle 9i but this time i need to find a simple, freeware tool
which has a possibility to draw ERD diagrams ( I dont care other features )
IN THE SAME NOTATION as in Oracle.

Is there a way to force a frm error message to appear as a popup,
instead of in the lower left message field?  If it makes any
difference, there is only one field displayed on the form in that
particular block.  This is in Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2

Can anyone see why sqlldr thinks the last field in the below example
record exceeds maximum length?
I show the last field as 1001 characters, including the newline.  That
