There is no referential integrity, and one sequence generator. All referential
integrity is maintained by the (java / JDBC) application.

I found it that you need to hard-code the partition key values in the
where clause for oracle to do partition pruning. If you join tables
together and one of the table has the partition key values in it,
oracle somehow won't prune partitions. Example:

I am getting the error
SQL*Loader-128: unable to begin a session
ORA-12705: invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified
on one production mchine when running sqlldr from a script. It is fine
ORA-22288 when DBMS_LOB.FILEOPEN even if server can see the file15 Jun 2005 19:46 GMT1
I have created a BFILE. Most DBMS_LOB functions works. However,
FILEOPEN does not work. Any solution?
