I was told that MD5 function is available in the DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT package. However, I looked up the Oracle9i Supplied PL/SQL Packages and Types Reference (R9.2) and there are only 4 DES/DES3 encryption/decrypt procedures - no md5.
