one of my disc partition collapse and my database is running in
noarchive log mode.Fortunatly i have recovered all database files from
that partition .it contains all files which is actully present whn u
fresh install oracle hope u understand.

    I would like to know the reason for high kernel% utilization by
oracle on win2k Server  with dual xeon processor box.
I used strace and Vtune. VTune suggested a function eoref_resolve of
orajox.dll taking high cpu cycle.

i have installed the oracle latest patch but unfortunately oracle patch
installer ask me to shutdown those windows service which windows never
allow me. e.g RPC, Telenet , Dcom process lancher
etc.

9.2.0.2 for HP-UX IA64) have some different between above two different
platform?
