I'm starting to learn Oracle on my own (WinXP box) - so I just installed it - I see that the server was the same name as the computer....however, during installation, all I was asked for was a password - nowhere did it ask me for a user name - -

We are running a couple of 9i development database on a Win 2003 Standard Edition server. I monitored the server last week, and noticed that the Oracle databases are limited to 2GB of memory, although the server has 4GB RAM.
