Using oracle 9.2.0.5 on AIX 5.3. I have user oracle and group oinstall and recommended in installation. I have a directory oracle/oinstall (owner/group) with r-xr-x-- permissions and in there a I have a file owned by root/system with rw-r-----, so root has rw and group (system)

Is there a way to tell the optimizer to precisely follow the exact plan & access paths you want ? You can't specify a hint to join a result set to a table, then the result set this join will yield with another table etc., so how can you deal with this ?

We have one datawarehouse and we are developing reports at offsoure. For developing reports we need one test database at offsoure. for this purpose we need a small part of our main database export in one dump. Does this possible to create small part of database like that?
