is it possible to enable disable/enable all triggers and foreign key
constrainst defined on a table.
I've tried:
 alter table BLA disable all trigger.

I have installed 10g with the default options and the hard drive is now
continually chugging away in my ear even when no database transactions are
active - which is getting on my nerves.
I had set the DB up previously and I had turned off rollback segments or

I did a new 10g R2 install, and created a database using OMF.
When I attempt to use OEM to create a new tablespace, I get an error
message, unless I supply a datafile name.  Perhaps I am
misunderstanding OMF, but I thought that datafiles would be created

I am getting the following error when i try to run the installer for

Initializing Java Virtual Machine from
2nd try - HP Data Protector, RMAN and clone across hosts13 Apr 2006 19:39 GMT3
We have recently moved our RMAN hot backups to Data Protector. The hot
backups are working successfully. Restoring works fine. Cloning a
database from one instance to another -- on the same host -- works
fine. I'm using an RMAN script with the appropriate Data Protector
