We have a very large table which is partitioned by range and then
further sub partitioned by list.  All indexes have been created as
locally partitioned but the primary key is a non-partitioned (global)

Is anyone aware of a way to compare Oracle databases (schemas and
content)? I found a .net software DBTyP.net that promises an easy and
visual comparison, but it seems not to be working with Oracle dbs
(though their site outlines it as one of the available options).

I fetch some parameters from a table which I use as GET-Parameter in an URL.
Unfortunately there are sometimes special characters like 'ä', 'Ö', 'ü'

I have a problem that i don't understand
I have a table with these values :
PCTFREE 10

Often the archive log destination is not really meant to be able to
hold a week worth of logs.
How can we redirect media restore to some temporary mount?
