Is it safe to move/compress (gzip) *.trc files from oracle [b|u]dump directories while database instance is up? I'm getting some of these files growing much more than expected (due to a known bug...) and would like to know if i can safely move them

We just migrated to Oracle 10g, from 8i. We had one question about UNDO. The documentation states that the UNDO table space keeps the 'undo' information for whatever time you specify and then writes it to disk.

Well, interesting piece of software this new Legacy7. Would it be possible to port it to use Oracle? (without sourcecode ;) Now it uses MS Access, it would be nice to use Oracle RDBMS ;)
