Using Paradox 4.02 for DOS, we have strange behaviour when searching for
particular records. I suspect this is because the table is particularly
large, with a too many records in it.
This is a subscriber database, with the primary index being surname.

I have a client who uses a vertical application written in visual
FoxPro. He needs some extensions to the application, but is not having

I am trying to create a process script in Paradox 9 that will remove hyphens
from a field. The field name is P_SSN and the data is social security
numbers with hyphens. Before I can export the data to another application,
the hyphens must go. Here is my script so far:

Is there anyway to bypass the PASSWORD entry and access data in a

permits.  We load Paradox under Novell's Application Server from a
network drive, rather than from local installs on our hard drives.  This
set up has worked under Windows 95/98, but for our few Windows 2000 ...

I've associated the .fdl extension (delivered forms) with Paradox Runtime in
Windows, so a double-click on on an icon opens it in runtime. However, if I
open Paradox Development on the same machine, the association of the .fdl

After a search of this newsgroup via Google, it appears that Paradox
does not have any time duration field.  Well, I guess I knew that by
poking around in Paradox (ver 7/32bit/Win2k) itself.  But I wanted to

I am using Windows 2000 Pro and WordPerfect 9 and WordPerfect 10. I am
