I upgraded an OS from Win95 to Win2000 and the old Paradox 4 applications are now very very slow at the startup. It takes several seconds to start an application. How can I work around this matter?

We have an unusual problem with a Paradox 10 development environment here, running on a Windows 98 computer. If I create a simple query, with a single table, and run it. The query fails with an "Invalid File Name" error.
