If i have a file - "xyz.db". And I want to change one of the field type, say
"FirstField" from <Number> to <Alpha, 10>. In coding, is that possible?
Cos I can only find code for deleting and renaming tables/file but not
field.

before posting here my experience I intended to get the experiences of the
French guys first. They are just discussing (C?me) other SP2 issues. Well,

I just had a customer update to Win 2003 server and they immediately had an
error that had to do with alphabetic fields case sensitivity.  I fixed that
but now there seems to be another error involving date formatting...what
used to be an ASCII export with the year appearing as ...

Hi group, I'm a consultant trying to write an export from a Paradox 7
file to text. I just need to read the Paradox file, no updates will be
required. I do not have Paradox or the BDE, just Microsoft data access
tools (MDAC, ODBC Provider for .NET, etc).  Is the BDE required?  Do I
