Keep focus on button19 Jan 2005 01:11 GMT1
I have created a "Search Name Box" and a "Search Next" button that continues
the search until the correct name is found.
What I would like to do is have the focus stay on the "Search Next" button
so the user can keep pressing the 'Enter' key  to continue searching.

We are in the process of moving from Paradox 5 to Paradox 9.  All was well
UNC path translated to drive+path syntax in PDOXUSRS.LCK18 Jan 2005 14:36 GMT4
I am having a problem where manually setting NetFileDir to an UNC path
will result in a pdoxusrs.lck that contains driveletter + path syntax,
meaning that other remote clients can't access those tables, cause the
path to NetFileDir doesn't match.
Mouse in DOS window?18 Jan 2005 12:35 GMT15
Here's the real problem - there may be more than one solution. My Pdox/DOS
4.5 books are sealed in a box in a locked storage place I can't get to until
tomorrow.
If I place two tables on the screen, use Image/Tablesize to make each one
Tara's Cobra17 Jan 2005 20:34 GMT14
Michelle,
Tara went to Rite-Aide in Bridgehampton to fill prescriptions from Dr.
Kirstein.  They said her card expired.  She used the card that I just
received.  I explained to them that mine worked there and it's the same

PDX_EN_FULL_bars and *sbar -files13 Jan 2005 09:15 GMT3
Hi Bertil and all others too!
I have XP pro, networked, and Paradox 9 Sp3 installed locally. I do not
found any PDX_EN_*.cfg files in any other location as "Program files\....",
neither visible nor hidden.  I have believed that those should be somewhere
Paradox 8 form too big.12 Jan 2005 23:46 GMT3
I inherited a 10 year old Paradox database recently and I'm still fairly
green (only 4 months). One of our forms is just over 1MB in size. I've found
that Paradox chokes on this form now when trying to add more features. After
some testing it seems that it's right around 1024 KB ...

a one-page report based upon the answer.db.
Generating a report in Paradox 11.12 Jan 2005 16:33 GMT13
I have created a database, capturing all my contacts and their phone
numbers.
The report I have created lists a header for each contact.  How can I
change this so I only get a header once, at the top of the page ?
Microsoft Query question regarding MAX, and NULL values, to put Pdox data into Excel11 Jan 2005 16:14 GMT3
I want to create a query using MS Query, and what I need is beyond my
knowledge.  I'm asking this question here because the underlying database is
Paradox 9, and Paradox people are much more helpful and friendly than MS
people :-).  I want to have the information in a spreadsheet ...
