TABLES ARE NOT EQUIVALENT25 Apr 2005 16:03 GMT3
I have what I think is an odd ball.
We upgraded to Paradox 9 on XP PCs from version 5 on NT PCs.
We have an offsite that is running version 5 on Windows 98.
Yesterday I loaded version 9 .FSLs & .RSLs at the offsite.
Hiring a programmer - red flags?22 Apr 2005 19:22 GMT19
I always get interesting feedback in this NG. Here's a question. My
company's preparing to hire a programmer for a small-ish project. Software
will eat incoming product lists from 2-3 suppliers, and price them to

Help! Jump from if to if and retain values21 Apr 2005 15:32 GMT1
How do I jump from statement if1 to statement if2 and pass on a cumulative
value from if1 to if2, then offset if2's cumulative values and then jump to
if1 again and add the remaining values to if2's passed-on cumulative value.
Hope this makes sense. If not here's an example.

Having an MBF about Paradox8 and network printers18 Apr 2005 00:43 GMT2
(MBF = "momentary brain-fart" .. "senior moment")  :-)
When a network printer (Epson inkjet) is the default printer, Paradox8 says
"no printer installed or Windows cannot print."  I've seen the message
before but I don't remember what was done to solve it.  The name of the
corrupt table!17 Apr 2005 22:00 GMT5

A friend of mine worked for Easter Seals and their computer died.  She had
