If I have a fair number of fields of a large size, say 100-255, does this
affect the long term integity of the database?
Would it be better to use a Memo field?
I am thinking of a database with +25 fields, say 5 of them in that size

I have been working on some code to update invoices that are
past due. I thought that I had it working, but hit a snag in
a way that I cannot untangle:

I am an unreconstructed Pdox advocate, and am involved now with a web-based
database application development team that is using some 100% Java-based
development tools.  Can anyone weigh in on which tool most closely resembles
Paradox's combination of flexibility & power?
