If a new DB application is planned for development what would be the
likely longevity of such an application considering the planned 2006
release of Microsoft's new OS.

When I get a new computer and install pdox on it,
I click on windows explorer,
search for all scripts - *.ssl,

Recently I thought I'd install my old Paradox 7 on my new XP computer to try
to repair some corruption. It came on 3.5" floppies. Running Setup from disk
1 brings up an error message of insufficient disk space, which of course is
nonsense - there's 47Gb free space.

Does anyone know where to get the P10R Patches...?  I took a look over at Corel and they seem to only have the Runtime download... I would prefer the patch or is this P10R download the latest and greatest (for v10, that is)...

My company is currently running Paradox 7.  It has been working fine up until
today and I've exhausted my limited knowledge of Paradox trying to fix it.
The program on one computer suddenly stopped opening up any files.  The data
(tables, forms, etc.) is good.  We have Paradox ...

Can I change the behavior of using the enter key in a text box?  The current
behavior when using a carriage return is that you will be taken to the next
field.  I don't want that to occur, I want the cursor to go to the next line
in the same field.  Possible?

When trying to copy a table from one alias to another, whether through the
Tools menu or code, I get 'Table busy' errors on certain tables. It's always
the same four tables while all of the others copy just fine.
Does anyone know what causes this error? I assumed it was a write ...

In 'Data Normalisation: A Primer' DS writes:

I need to get a fields default value as defined in paradox
from within my Delphi program. Is there a quick way to dithis. Other
