I am writing an application in vb.net 2005 to insert/update/select data to
paradox database file(.db---bde 5.01)
1)what is the best way to go about it?

This is for Paradox v7, 32-bit.
For most operations I've seen, whether a tablename and its corresponding
extensions are uppercase or lowercase makes no difference. However, if you
generate the SQL from a query, it does make a difference. If all tables have

We have tried to close PDX without to have the message of invalid windows
operation from Vista.
We have tried to modify BDE parmeters, starting PDX with -e param ecc.ecc.
with no success.

Our users are in the process of being upgraded from Paradox 9 to 11.0.411
on Windows XP SP2 machines.  One of our users is complaining that now every
time she prints a report to a Canon printer, she has to change the "finishing"
setting to duplex.  In P9 that setting would be saved ...

How can I refer to the contents of another field in a Query by Example?
I want to update the one field with the contents of another field using  
the CHANGETO command, but I can't get it to accept anything logical. I
