Pervasive 8 Fatal File Manager error30 Jul 2004 12:25 GMT1
I have a question about Magic 9 and Pervasive 8. Recently we upgraded our
program from Magic 7 to Magic 9 and also changed the database from Pervasive
7 to Pervasive 8 (We also changed from Novell to Windows2k server).
First we sometimes received a FFME #46, but could not declare ...
Can I use "LIKE" in a query?29 Jul 2004 00:12 GMT1
I don't find mention of "LIKE" in the the SQL documentation that comes
with Pervasive, but from some of the postings here it looks like maybe
you can use it -- I have 2000i SP3.  What's the definitive answer, and
if you can use it in a query, what do you use for a multiple-character

Can't add multiple supplemental indexes?19 Jul 2004 15:14 GMT5

nested query ran fine by itself...
Thanks so much.

Suffice to say we can now make ADO DB connections from .Net projects to

Could someone please help clarify the purpose of a few Macola tables?
The tables I'm interested in are the IMLSMST and IMLSTRX tables. It
seems to deal with Serial or Lot numbers. Am I correct?
The version of Macola is Progression 7.5.103f - 32 Bit.

Error 312809 Jul 2004 16:37 GMT1
Using IDS to connect to server(ver 7). Simple insert-updates ok - only
using transactions. Multiple server accesses (bundled in transactions)
give error 3128. Sometimes ok but severity increases with number of
records accessed/inserted/updated.
Btrieve and faults caused by the Year 2000 !!08 Jul 2004 09:04 GMT1

ODBC Driver Install08 Jul 2004 04:33 GMT4
I'd like to install the Pervasive SQL 2000 ODBC driver onto a W98 client PC,
to enable an app to use the CaptureIT database. However, I don't want to
install the whole stuff, just the ODBC drivers. We're using P.SQL 2000
Workgroup, by the way, on a Windows 2000 server.
