Has anyone run Pervasive SQL 8.5 on Linux and experienced any issues regarding failing to handle file locks or corruption of indexes. I am using Fedora Core 2 (kernel V2.6). To get mkded (the linux btreive engine) to stay up I had to put this line;

Dear Pervasives! We use PervasiveSQL V8 under different Environments. Windows, Novell etc. Now we installed it on Linux (Debian and Suse) and face some problems.

I have a btrieve file. I need to create a DDF for it. I don't even have btreive. I would like to pay someone to do this for me. Its one file but I will probably get 6 more to do if they likes this.

I have a database +/- 2.600.000 records. I have 5 indexes on this file. One of them is on ProductID, another is on TransactionDate. The file has been uploaded in order of ProductID.

I have a database, containing the usual file, field and index .DDF files, as well as a load of .BTR tables. I have Pervasive.SQL 2000i, but when I access the database, the only the file, field and index tables appear.

I need to export records from a Btrieve DB convert them into a .txt file. This is easy I can use butil, but with that program there are no options of what records to export, its all or nonw (i think i am correct with that statement)...
