We're running P.SQL V8.6 on a Netware server (V5.1, SP5) and I'm running
the Pervasive Monitor Utility (8.60.192.030) on a Windows XP SP2 PC.
The display of user names in the Active Files and Active Users displays
is corrupt. Instead of user names I mostly get a mix of printable and

We attempting to detect, when our program is running in a terminal

kind of loadbalancing on same database. I have a big site with 500+

I am using OLEDB to access SQL2000i data from Visual Basic.
I have the ddf files and have sucessfully created the database within
SQL2000i.  I can look at the table structure etc but I cannot see any
information relating to the indexes.  The properties state that there are 5

How do you access Btrieve v6.15 for DOS from either JDBC or ODBC?  There's a
legacy application that I need to do some custom reporting from (maybe with
Crystal Reports), and upgrading to Pervasive.SQL v8 would invalidate any
support from the company that sells the app.

Does anyone know if a Btrieve 6 DB on Netware 5 can be moved over to a
Windows 2K Server (using any version of Btrieve), and assuming it can be
done, what possible conflicts there are with running Btrieve and SQL Server

Is it possible to rename a named database the uses referential integrity?
I'm using P.SQL 8.6 Workgroup Engine on WinXP.
Using PCC, I tried deleting the DSN then renaming the database.  This
appears to work.  I created a new DSN, but when I try to access the database

Slow data access after upgrading from PSQL 2000i to V8.101 Nov 2004 21:46 GMT1
Last  week we moved to PSQL V8.1 from 2000i. Since we have had incredibly
slow data access problems. This keeps flactuating from normal to
abnormally slow in spans of 5 minutes.
We have since switched of the client/local cache engines but no success.
