We attempting to detect, when our program is running in a terminal services client, if Pervasive is running or not. If Pervasive is running, our program will exit. We can detect versions of Pervasive up to release version # 7.90.

I am using OLEDB to access SQL2000i data from Visual Basic. I have the ddf files and have sucessfully created the database within SQL2000i. I can look at the table structure etc but I cannot see any information relating to the indexes. The properties state that there are 5

How do you access Btrieve v6.15 for DOS from either JDBC or ODBC? There's a legacy application that I need to do some custom reporting from (maybe with Crystal Reports), and upgrading to Pervasive.SQL v8 would invalidate any support from the company that sells the app.

Does anyone know if a Btrieve 6 DB on Netware 5 can be moved over to a Windows 2K Server (using any version of Btrieve), and assuming it can be done, what possible conflicts there are with running Btrieve and SQL Server on the same box?

Are there any known problems with Pervasive SQL 2000i 7.94 on an SBS 2003? We need to mirgrate to SBS 2003 and only 2 users still need an old software that relies on Pervasive SQL 2000i. A test installation showed no problems.

Last week we moved to PSQL V8.1 from 2000i. Since we have had incredibly slow data access problems. This keeps flactuating from normal to abnormally slow in spans of 5 minutes. We have since switched of the client/local cache engines but no success.
