Is there a way for me to write a batch file to run an SQL statement in
a Pervasive table.  Or is there a way to write a VB script to execute
the SQL statement.  Or is there any free software that will help me do
either of these 2 things.

I thought save and load commands do exact reverse jobs,I mean running
butil -save d1.dat t.txt

I have designed a simple table that uses a longvarchar to store
variable-length text.  I have this table fully implemented using the Btrieve
API.  I now have a user trying to access/edit/insert records into this table
via ODBC, and from what i can tell, the ODBC drivers are not ...

I have one customer that is getting an error 3112 from our application,
but only when accessing a portion of the software, when looking at the

I'm using PSQL 8.7 and trying to figure out how to use the COLLATE arguement
of CREATE TABLE.  I need to create tables using a French ACS. According to
the documentation for CREATE TABLE, I can specify COLLATE:
CREATE TABLE t5 (c1 CHAR(20) COLLATE 'c:\pvsw\samples\upper.alt');

I am trying to get my program to connect to a BusinessVision database.
It seems that BV uses unnamed databases. My program uses an ODBC
connection and I can't find a way to connect to the unnamed database. I
could install the DDFs and create a DSN but this would have to be done

Error 170 on one workstation using v8.7 PSQL06 Dec 2006 19:42 GMT2
I have a customer who recently migrated from Novell to windows server
and upgrade to v 8.7 PSQL.  Since migrating the user has one
workstation that continually receives an error 170 when trying to
access the database via our software.  This is only occurring on one
