Or rather how do you fire query using isql being root of your solaris host without loggin in as sybase user "sa"? Because if i am root of the machine, i dont want to login as a sybase user. Rather i would like to do something like

We are going to migrate our SYBASE server running on HPUX 11 to another hardware platform and I would like to ear some feedback sounds from DB admins running on Linux or Solaris boxes. Our server is not so big and run around 20 bases.
